Colin was Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds from September 1996 until July 2012. During his tenure the building was restored to its original 1819 state, whilst his Restoring the Repertoire initiative gained national prominence as it began to explore some of the forgotten works of the English drama of the Georgian period.
He has produced and/or directed over 40 productions and was the TMA's MANAGER OF THE YEAR in 2009. Colin also writes under the pseudonym of Daniel O'Brien and is a lecturer in and teacher of the English theatre of the 18th century.
