In Frenchest part of French France a humongously handsome Prince falls in love with the beautiful daughter of the merchant Monsieur Bertrand. The evil Enchantress Sybil hates all that is beautiful so she turns the Prince into a hideous, hairy Beast and causes Bertrand’s business to fail. Beauty is captured by the Beast and all looks like it’s going to be grossly grim and gruesomely ghastly. But there is something about the Beast that isn’t all bad. Will she fall in love with him and break Sybil’s wicked spell? Will Dame Dominique Derrière and her stupid son ‘Potty’ Pascal help save the day? Will the Beast’s silly servant Baguette help put things right? Will it be the greatest love story ever told or will it all end very unhappily?
Featuring a cast of incredibly talented actors, singers and musicians, Beauty and the Beast brings great professional panto to Sutton Coldfield. It’s a great story, with great music, great design, great dancing and some truly terrible jokes – this has to be a show you can’t miss.
