Sasha Wilson's show - written with Joseph Cullen - garnered multiple glowing reviews at this year's Edinburgh Fringe, including ★★★★★ from The Scotsman ("Razor-sharp with and faultless timing") and ★★★★ from The Guardian ("Snappily written, wittily performed").
The Brief Life & Mysterious Death of Boris III, King of Bulgaria - which also stars Wilson and Cullen - tells the untold but true story of how Bulgaria saved nearly 50,000 Jewish lives during the second world war and how the world then forgot all about it. Set to Bulgarian and Jewish folk music, the show was second runner up for The Popcorn New Writing Award, in partnership with the BBC.
The show runs at The Arcola Theatre in London from 26th September to 21st October. For more information and to book tickets, head to the Arcola website.
