Shahid Iqbal Khan Joins Almeida Genesis New Playwrights Programme

SHAHID IQBAL KHAN has been chosen as one of the writers joining the 2023-2025 Almeida Genesis New Playwrights Programme.

The 'New Playwrights, Big Plays Programme' is a two year programme that supports emerging and mid-career writers to develop new plays for larger stages. Each writer on the scheme is commissioned to write a new play for the Almeida while being supported by the Almeida's Literary and Artistic team.

The programme is made possible by the support of the Genesis Foundation.
