Adam Bassett will reprise the role of Macduff in Amy Leach's production of MACBETH at Leeds Playhouse.
After a successful run in 2022, the production will return in March 2024 to the Quarry Theatre at Leeds Playhouse. Playing from 5th - 23rd March.
Driven by his desire to rule, Macbeth does whatever it takes to become king. When three witches reveal their prophecy on the heath, a savage darkness consumes the hearts of the treacherous warrior and his wife. Corruption and an insatiable greed for power, lead to death and destruction in Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy.
Director Amy Leach’s ‘triumphant’ (The Guardian) production returns to the Quarry stage following its critically acclaimed 2022 premiere. All performances feature creatively integrated audio description.
Adam will also act as BSL Consultant to the production.
