Elliott is a Canadian Set and Costume Designer for theatre and opera based in London. He is a graduate of Edinburgh's Scenehouse Programme and he also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of British Columbia, where he was twice the winner of the Theatre Department's Peter Loeffler Memorial Prize.
Theatre design credits include Cartas Vivas (Cervantes Theatre & Teatro de La Abadía, Madrid) and Midnight: A New Musical (The Union Theatre), which was nominated for an Off-West End Award for Best Set Design & remounted in Seoul, South Korea.
Opera credits include Dewi in the Deep (Royal Opera House - Clore Studio), Rip Van Winkle (Gothic Opera), Semele & Candide (Blackheath Halls Opera), Giulio Cesare (Bury Court Opera) and Captain Blood's Revenge (Norfolk Into Opera Festival).
Elliott has taught Set Design students at The BRIT School, and he has led design workshops for Chichester Festival Theatre & Half Moon Theatre. He has regularly designed productions at Guildford School of Acting, East 15 Acting School, Mountview, and Italia Conti.
Upcoming work includes designing The Boatswain’s Mate & La Canterina for the Buxton International Festival.
